Upcycled Copper Token Gifts - Super Seconds

SUPER SECONDS

These tokens are all seconds, handmade from upcycled copper pipes, the copper has marks, dinks and patina from its previous life.  The copper may also have slightly uneven impressions of text. A great chance to grab a bargain!

A thoughtful gift to pop in with a greetings card, keep in a purse or have on a bedside table.

Each token is cut, filed, stamped and polished by hand. Made from copper each will be unique showing scratches or marks. As each letter is indivually hand stamped some may tilt, this is all part of our process and adds to the unique character of the token.

Approximate size of token (will vary slightly due to our handmade process)

Length: 3.5cm

Height: 2.7cm

Each token is presented in a small white drawstring organza bag to keep it safe and secure.

Due to the nature of copper it will tarnish over time from exposure to air and use. This is a completely natural process. While we polish each token, it will eventually start to dull. This gives the copper a wonderful new effect, however if you wish to return it to its shining appearance this can be done in many ways. For example, using white vinegar and salt, rubbing the copper gently and then rinsing it with clean water thoroughly can do this, as does using a solution of diluted lemon juice and salt, rinsing well after again.

Not suitable for young children due to small parts.
