Slight seconds - these bags are slight seconds handmade from sections of leathers that may have slight imperfections on them such as scuffs or marks on the straps that are purely cosmetic and do not affect the use of the bag - made with the ethos of nothing goes to waste!

The Leather Tote Bag - Red and Blue Wave

Handmade with buttery soft leathers in red and blue, both have smooth finishes but will still show marks and develop a patina over time with use. The straps are made from a slightly thicker blue leather for added strength.

Go bold with this beautiful and buttery soft tote bag. A lovely flextible leather with strong straps, this bag is great for day to day use whatever you carry be it shopping, books and notepads, or anything else you can fit in! This casual bag is simple in design yet striking in colour, a piece of craftsmanship you'll feel proud to own or give as a gift to a lucky recipient!

These bags are made from two flat panels of leather, our bags are all completely handmade, every cut, punch and stitch is done by hand in our workshop in Derbyshire. Hand stitched using the traditional method of saddle stitching, no two tote bags are exactly the same but you can be guaranteed of our high standard and classic style.

Our tote bag consists of one large section, this inside shows off the suede side. The handles are made using a thicker leather for added strength to the bag and long enough to carry over your shoulder. Featuring our Orgill Originals stamped leather logo as a special addition.

Handmade with a super soft and flexible yet strong red leather, it has a corrected grain that gives the leather unique textures and creases for a natural effect but with a more robust finish. This leather may show some slight marks. The straps are cut from a stiffer London Tan Brown or natural cream leather to give the bag more strength when carrying heavier items and has a natural patina that will age over time. The London Tan may have some marks on the suede side but this does not affect the use at all.

From cutting the patterns, punching holes to sewing in the traditional saddle stitch. Each bag is completely unique due to this process!

Leather ages naturally over time, this is its natural patina, ingrained with all your memories and travels together. Try to avoid getting your leather wet, if it does, wipe clean with a cloth and allow to dry out naturally. If your leather begins to crack techniques such as using leather moisturisers or oils can help soften it. Be sure to test any product on a small area not easily visible as some may cause slight discolouring of your leather.
