Hidden under the beak is a nickel plated brass Sam Browne stud. Simply lift the beak and push or pull the stud over the hole and slit in the leather for a strong closure. This may feel stiff at first but will begin to soften with time and use.

Ideal for carrying credit cards/travel cards, spare change, notes, pocket mirrors etc.

Our purses are all completely handmade, every cut, punch and stitch is done by hand in our workshop in Derbyshire. Hand stitched using the traditional method of saddle stitching, no two purses are exactly the same but you can be guaranteed of our high standard and classic style.

Made with a thick natural cream Italian hide that gives this purse a stunning natural finish and a thin buttery soft black leather and a touch of yellow for the beak! You will see unique marks - the hides patina - from its previous life which only add to its character.

Leather ages naturally over time, this is its natural patina, ingrained with all your memories and travels together. Try to avoid getting your leather wet, if it does, wipe clean with a cloth and allow to dry out naturally. If your leather begins to crack techniques such as using leather moisturisers or oils can help soften it. Be sure to test any product on a small area not easily visible as some may cause slight discolouring of your leather.
