Genuine Orgill Originals Messenger Bag with detachable leather strap. Keep it simple with this shoulder bag that's not too small for a day of travel and not too big where you feel overwhelmed by what you're carrying. The perfect medium.

Our design features one main inner section, ideal for your main items, such as purse, keys, notepad etc. and a slim internal pocket for smaller pieces such as train tickets or a phone. The inside shows off the soft suede side of the leather which also protects your items. Secured with a single tuck lock underneath the buckle and choose between carrying your bag on your shoulder, or using it as a handheld. Simply unhook the lobster clasps for an instant change in style.

From cutting the patterns, punching holes to sewing in the traditional saddle stitch. Each bag is completely unique due to this process!

This particular messenger bag is made using natural Italine leather that we have then hand dyed dark tan brown. This is sturdy and classic with rustic markings from its previous life. Finished with coloured metalwork and thread of your choice.

Also note your backpack will differ slightly to those shown in the images due to the natural finish of the leather we use, this is all part of the handmade process and will make your bag even more unique to you!

Select from the drop down menu which D-Ring fittings you want your bag to have 

• Convertible Bag - will be made with 5 D-Rings, 3 on the back of the bag, 2 on the sides and supplied with 3 straps, 2 shorter ones for the backpack, 1 long strap for over the shoulder/cross body
• Shoulder Bag Only - will be made with 2 D-Rings positioned on the sides of the bag and supplied with 1 long shoulder bag/cross body length strap
• Backpack Only - will be made with 3 D-Rings positioned on the back of the bag and supplied with 2 backpack straps (this is exactly the same as our standard backpack design listing)

Leather ages naturally over time, this is its natural patina, ingrained with all your memories and travels together. Try to avoid getting your leather wet, if it does, wipe clean with a cloth and allow to dry out naturally. If your leather begins to crack techniques such as using leather moisturisers or oils can help soften it. Be sure to test any product on a small area not easily visible as some may cause slight discolouring of your leather.
